The Foundation, AWFAE, was established to promote educational excellence in the Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District. The Foundation provides private financial support for exemplary educational projects and programs that benefit public school educators and students in the two communities. It is governed by a volunteer group of dedicated citizens from Ashburnham and Westminster committed to fostering the educational experiences of district students. “During the 2009-2014 school years, the Foundation awarded more than $45,000 in grants to teachers in the district thanks to the generous donations of community members and their support for its annual fall event,” said Mike Sunderland, Vice-President and Chairperson of the Grant Committee.

All are invited to socialize while supporting academic excellence in our schools. We look forward to seeing you. If you have questions, please email
