The Events Committee plans and manages the Foundation’s social events. Our Foundation hosts two annual events, an adult-oriented evening in the fall, and a family-friendly Trivia Bee in the spring. Volunteers on this committee research venues and opportunities, determine appropriate entertainment and refreshments, create invitations and approach local businesses for involvement in our fundraising activities. New volunteers are always welcome.
The Fundraising Committee sets policies and guidelines for fundraising, identifies potential donors, and meets with individuals and businesses to create more fundraising opportunities.
Public Relations Committee is responsible for updating the local media outlets on the Foundation’s activities, maintaining the Foundation’s website and Facebook page and generating electronic newsletters. Volunteers are always welcome on the Public Relations Committee.
The Foundation welcomes volunteers who have a good understanding and skillset for web development, the ability to troubleshoot, or have creative ideas from which the Foundation can promote itself and manage itself through the efficient use of technology, we'd look forward to hearing from you.
